We recently came across a rare and interesting copy of Irish Fairy Tales edited with an introduction by W.B. Yeats and illustrated by his brother, Jack B. Yeats.
This was published by T. Fisher Unwin (London and Leipsic) and is an undated 4th impression (it was first published in 1892, and is uncommon in any state).
Some work has been needed to get this into a presentable state. We have had a new spine added (with the original spine re-stuck onto this) and new endpapers have been added making the book look and feel very nice indeed. The work has been professionally undertaken by Teasdale Bookbinders of Corwen.
There is some age-related foxing and spotting throughout the book, but nothing too detrimental to one’s enjoyment of it.
Please contact us for a more in depth description of the book, more photos, or indeed to enquire about the cost.
