We are delighted to have a few ISB related titles for sale.
Firstly, we have an exceedingly rare and collectable HARDBACK First Edition of Be Glad: An Incredible String Band Compendium edited by Adrian Whittaker and put out in very small numbers by Helter Skelter in 2003 (the paperback is fairly readibly available). Got lots of press coverage at the time because of the forward by Rowan Williams (the Archbishop of Canterbury).
Secondly we are pleased to be able to offer copies of the excellent Empty Pocket Blues: the Life and Music of Clive Palmer (original and latterly once again member of the ISB, of course) by Grahame Hood. This is a fascinating story of an inspirational and single-minded musical talent. Our copies are signed (with a lovely little ISB related inscription) and dated by the author.
Finally, we also have a very collectable set of the original Be Glad ISB fanzines.
Contact us if you are interested in any of these items.

I’ve got some spare 6th row tickets (all in a row) for this, the first Mott the Hoople gig in 35 years, taking place at the Blake Theatre in Monmouth, a wonderful little 500 seater theatre.
Drop me a line if you are interested.

I’ve just put a copy of the really rather difficult to find biography of the Folk-Rock maestros up onto eBay (use link to right).
It’s the 1997 updated edition in excellent condition with just minor markings to covers. It appears unread.
Also listed are rare copies of The Boot (the official bootleg of the 1983 Cropredy reunion), and The Other Boot (from the 1986 Cropredy reunion).
