I found 2 delightful sketchbooks on Saturday.
Both are full of 30 (sadly unsigned) ink line sketches of the Home Counties in the 1920s and 1930s. A couple of the sketches are here for your perusal. I think you’ll agree that they are certainly of a professional standard.
I’m so excited by this find…they are all, without fail, lovely pictures. I’ve got a list of all the 60 sketches if you are interested, but they are mainly from Oxon, Berkshire, Herts and Kent.
I’ve absolutely no idea how to value this, but drop me a line for a chat if you are interested!

I was lucky enough to find some nice copies of a few of this series at a Book Fair yesterday.
These were No 57. British Seals (1st Ed, 1974); No 58. Hedges (Reprint, 1977); Monograph – The Yellow Wagtail (1st Ed, 1950).
Please contact us if you are interested in any of these, or indeed if you have any New Naturalist editions you wish to sell…this is an area we are always ready to buy in, and we have ready customers waiting for certain volumes.

This is signed in Pencil by Tracey to the front cover.

Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Cost, including Royal Mail insured Special Delivery (within the UK) will be £130

I’m delighted to say that I’ve got several hand signed copies (signatures obtained by me) of Andy Roberts’ masterful and highly enjoyable rollercoaster of a ride through the High Times of Olde England.
It is, truly, a magnificent book which is bound to become collectable in time. I don’t think the author has signed many copies.
Copies are available from us for an inclusive price (inc Registered post in the UK) of only £22.

I’ve just uploaded a small collection of Beatles and solo related material to eBay.
Nothing too spectacular, but there is a signed copy of Lewisohn’s wonderful Beatles Chronicle (he’s now writing the official 3 volume history of the band), and a copy of the oft-quoted ‘Best book about the Beatles ever’, Carr and Tyler’s ‘The Beatles – An Illustrated Record, which does exactly what it says on the tin!
They’ll be going live between about 7 and 10 pm tonight and the auctions will run for a week. Mostly 99p starts. There may be a fair amount of Rock and Pop material going live on eBay over the next few weeks so keep an eye there (by clicking on the link on my home page).
